A tall and commanding central defender, Pallister hit the headline when he joined Manchester United in August 1989 for £2.3 million. In his debut season, he played in every match and won the FA Cup with United. The following saeason brought about similar success; they won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1991, league Cup in 1992, League in 1993, League and FA Cup in 1994 and much more! Pallister was a key member of the first team during their splendid era as the top football team in European football.

Fabrizio Ravanelli
FA Cup Status – Runner up (Middlesbrough) 1997
In the 90’s Ravenelli was one of the quickest players in front of the goal, strong in the air and in the tackle. With one of the best left foots in the game, he helped carry Middlesbrough to the finals of the FA Cup and League cup in 1997. Middlesbrough fans will remember the combination of Ravenelli and Juninho as the outstanding partnership in the season of the two cup finals.

Emmanuel Petit
FA Cup Status – Winner (Arsenal) 1998
Arsene Wenger brought Petit to Highbury in 1997 for what proved to be a bargain of £3.5 million. In his debut season at Arsenal, petit went from strength to strength and he was a formidable part of the starting line up through out the season, which won him a remarkable amount of trophies. He won the League, the FA Cup and World Cup with France. His outstanding performances through out the 1998 FA Cup competition arguably single handedly won them the trophy.
